As our name suggests, our main focus is delivering training for teachers (both training courses and in-house training) delivering sport qualifications (predominantly BTEC Sport level 2 & 3 programmes), although we do have a proven track record of providing support and guidance for many other subject areas.

Our principal trainers are Julie Gibson and Ian Wood who have considerable experience of delivering, assessing and managing BTEC Sport programmes..

The extensive teacher training events Julie and Ian have delivered in the past have received excellent reviews and accolades from schools and colleges throughout the UK, many teachers returning regularly for update training and continued CPD.

SportEd also provide a comprehensive on-line support package for the BTEC Sport specifications (Sport Zone). Sport Zone provides a range of teaching and assessment material that members can download and use on their programmes and a help desk where members can receive a rapid response to any queries or questions they may have. All in all an invaluable teaching aid and a great time saving tool for overworked teachers!
