We offer a range of extremely high
quality, informative and engaging courses to support
the delivery of BTECs, the new Diploma’s and
other work related training. We cover a range of
subject areas for BTECs such as sport, travel and
tourism, business studies, performing arts, dance,
music and others. We also run generic courses applicable
to all BTEC deliverers such as internal verification,
centre risk assessment and courses for Senior Managers
for curriculum development. Our Diploma training
includes an introduction to the Diploma and what
you need to know which will be suitable for all
lines of learning. We are also running training
courses specifically for the Sport and Active Leisure
Diploma.
Our courses are held nationally in many major cities
as well as in our Virtual Classroom where you can
be in a location of your choice. The Virtual Classroom
offers exactly the same training as face to face
and excludes the travel time and cost and is at
a reduced price.
Our Director of training Julie Gibson is well known
for her dynamic and engaging courses and has quite
a following. Ian Wood, also an expert in this field
is renowned for his excellent delivery and in depth
knowledge.

To book a place on any of these courses you can either
register via our website,
email cathryn@sports-ed.co.uk
for an electronic version of the booking form or call
the Booking Line on 0121 288 4619.
If you do book online, you do not need to pay online,
we will invoice your school after your registration.
Alternatively, please call if you would like further
information.
Costs:
- £195 + VAT per person for full
day courses outside London.
- £230 + VAT per person for full
day courses within London.
- £150 + VAT per person for full
day courses in the Virtual Classroom
- £125 + VAT per person for half
day courses outside London
- £135 + VAT per person for half
day courses within London
- £90 + VAT per person for half
day courses in the Virtual Classroom
For members of the Sports
Zone BTEC Sport Online Support
Service there is a 10% discount on all course bookings,
however where multiple discounts apply, the largest
discount only applies.

All of our courses cover the key developmental and delivery
issues associated with successful BTEC implementation
and the introduction to the new Diploma, however, if
